The grant
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £7,500 towards an air source heat pump for eligible homes in England and Wales. It goes to the installer and comes straight off your price. We apply on your behalf. How the scheme works →
The survey
A surveyor visits, measures the house room by room for heat loss, checks the insulation, the radiators and where the unit would sit, and tells you honestly whether a heat pump suits the property yet.
The install
