Why upgrade your windows & doors?

Less heat lost through the glass

Old single glazing and failed double glazing leak heat all winter. Modern A rated units cut that loss and the draughts that come with it.

Enhanced Security

Modern multipoint locking systems and reinforced frames keep your home safe.

Noise Reduction

Double and triple glazing significantly reduces outside noise for a quieter home.

Increased Property Value

New windows and doors lift the look of the house and are one of the first things a buyer or a surveyor notices.

Who we do it for

One house, or a hundred.

The same fitters, the same units and the same paperwork, whether it is your front door or every window on a scheme.

FAQs

Window and door questions, answered

Do new windows need trickle vents?

In England, replacement windows generally need background ventilation at least as good as the windows they replace, and where there was none the regulations expect trickle vents to be fitted. We specify them where required and explain why.

Do I need planning permission?

Usually not for like for like replacements, but conservation areas, listed buildings and Article 4 areas have their own rules. We check before we quote.

How long does installation take?

A typical house is one to two days. We fit an opening at a time so the house is never open to the weather, and clear up as we go.

Do you work for housing associations and councils?

Yes. Replacement glazing is part of the whole house retrofit packages we deliver. See the Aspire Housing case study or our sub contracting page.
